Dedication

To the Greatest Story-Maker of all times

And

to children and teenagers everywhere who desires to express the

various stories in the adventurous imaginations of their minds for the world to see.

Preface

This is the third in the 3niti Multimedia Academy (3MA) Children Projects Publications, this one being a compendium of stories by some of the 2015 Basic Digital Video, Summer Multimedia Training 2015, and Children Multimedia Club 2016/17 students.

Children between ages 4 and 19 were taught Multimedia Basics. It is so amazing to see children learn at such a quick pace and come up with their own stories, drawings, pictures, cartoon animations, audio, and video recordings within a short period of time.

I am glad to present this work to you and hope it will inspire creativity amongst our children everywhere in the world, equipping them better for the challenges of tomorrow.

Enjoy the stories.

The First Day

Story and Images by Mojola OLORUNTOBI - 13 years, 2016

At five in the morning, the engines stopped and after thirty four days, the boat was quiet.

We were in America. I got off the boat and discovered that I had no money to take a boat to the shore. I had exhausted all my money eating the most expensive food on the boat and now I had no money.

Little did I know that to take a boat to the shore was free in America until my friend Patrick came along and told me it was free! When I got to America, I only had a dollar in my pocket that I got from selling my cap, so I tried finding a job but the only skill I had was making swords and decorating leather.

Finally my friend Patrick helped me to find a job in the restaurant where he worked. Since I couldn't cook, I had to wash the plates and I was going to be paid five dollars every day.

Soon I started my new job that same day. But I had difficulty washing the tumblers because as soon as I started washing a tray of tumblers they all snapped as though they were twigs, then I tried to serve the guests and I crashed the tray on the ground.

Finally, the mistress of the restaurant told me to go. She paid me ten dollars, gave me some Food and sent me on my way.

After I left, I wound up somewhere in the park. I used all my money to buy nuts for a squirrel I saw in the park. Then I ate my food and slept off. I woke up to the sound of a man cursing and shouting. I saw that his car had stopped.
