Shira is a fox. Foxes are clever creatures. Shira lost her mate Dromiky and decided that the new life she carried needed to be safe. She stowed away on a boat, it didn’t matter where it was going.

Shira ran through the streets of this new land. She needed a place to build a den. She ran past a football field and came to a creek. Just the place she thought, the reeds would give her somewhere to hide.

Shira slept until the next night. She found food in the bins and had water in the creek. She started to dig a den under a big gum tree. It was perfect and just in time.
